How to Diet According to Blood Groups?

Blood Group 0


Covers cereal products and legumes as little as possible. For those of the 0 group, the biggest factor in weight gain is gluten found in wheat germ and whole wheat products. Those who belong to that blood group are recommended to eat plenty of seafood, iodized salt, liver, red meat, spinach and broccoli. Avoid dairy products, eggs, shellfish, squid, cabbage and cauliflower. It is suggested that milk and dairy products also slow their metabolism. Tomatoes are harmful to the digestive system of A and B groups. However, those with O group can eat tomatoes.

Blood Group A

Instead of meat, fish or chicken can be eaten 2-3 times a week. Care should be taken that vegetables are as natural as possible. Blood Group B


For those in this group, corn, chickpea, buckwheat, lentil, peanut, sesame and wheat are weight gain foods. These foods can cause problems such as fatigue, water retention and low blood sugar in people. People with B blood type lose weight easily. Those included in this group should stay away from chicken meat and eat sheep and lamb. Fish living in deep sea are also useful for group B. However, seafood such as lobster, shrimp, squid and mussels should be avoided. Among the blood groups, B is the only group benefiting from milk and dairy products. Tomatoes should be removed from their diet.

Blood Group AB


Food that is not suitable for groups A and B is also bad for group AB. However, tomatoes, which are not recommended for other blood groups, are recommended for those in the AB group. Eating meat and eggs should be avoided. Vegetables should be kept with them while eating meat. They can consume most seafood, all dairy products, and many fresh vegetables. Beans and legumes have a complex effect on the AB group. For example, lentils have a cancer preventive effect for group AB, but not for group B. Kidney beans inhibit insulin production of those with group A, the same effect is valid for group AB. They should avoid buckwheat and corn and eat tofu regularly.
